Course Description
For the very first TNT Fun Run/Walk we designed a challenging and scenic trail run that athletes of all levels will enjoy.
The course consists of fire roads, single track trails and some pavement. Participants will start on a wide fire road which quickly turns into a board walk that leads to a trail surrounded by lush greenery. This trail winds around Pinto Lake with a few ups and downs. The course then crosses over another fire road and descends a short ways. After a gradual climb, athletes will circle a large field with plenty of views of the lake. The elevation then drops quickly to lead back towards the start area. After a short stair climb, a brief section of fire road leads to an out and back on pavement that propels participants towards the finish line.
-10k (6.2 miles) participants will do 2 (two) loops of the course
-5k (3.1 miles) participants will do 1 (one) loop of the course
There will be water stops and bathrooms at miles 1.5, 3, and 4.5.
The FUN RUN is not a timed event however if you have a wrist watch feel free to time yourself!
